Xenarthra 1 sp: Dasypus novemcinctus. It is supposed to reach 2400 masl. However it has been seen around the station.
Insectivora: 2 spp. Cryptotis gracilis y C. nigresens are endemics of the talamanca’s region, both have been collected and deposited in the National Museum of Costa Rica: It is expected: Cryptotis merriami (North of Costa Rica), C. parva (lower lands), C. enderseni (Panamá).
Chiroptera: 3 spp: Lasiurus blossevillii (National Museum of Costa Rica), Myotis keasy (Museo Nacional de Costa Rica), Myotis nigricans (UCR).
It is expected: Sturnira mordax , Eptesicus fuscus, E. brasiliensis (until 2700 masl). The last entry is endemic of Costa Rica and Panamá. Anoura geoffroyi, Anoura cultrata (until 2500 masl), Bauerus dubiaquercus, Lasiurus castaneus (North of Costa Rica). Lasiurus cinereus (Guatemala, Colombia).
Rodentia: 10 spp. Coendou mexicanus (F. Valverde), Sciurus granatensis (UCR), Orthogeomys cavator (to be confirmed), Heteromys oresterus, H. desmarestianus, Oligoryzomys vegetus (UMMZ, endemic for Talamanca), Reithrodontomys rodriguezi (National Museum of Costa Rica, endemic), R. mexicanus (National Museum of Costa Rica), Scotinomys xerampelinus (National Museum of Costa Rica, endemic for Talamanca), Reithrodontomys creper (UCR, LSUMZ, endemic), Peromyscus mexicanus (UCR).
It is expected: Syntheosciurus brochus, Microsciurus alfari, Sciurus variegatoides (hasta 2600), Oryzomys albigularis, O. alfaroi group (until 3200 masl), Rheomys underwoodi, Tylomys watsoni (until 2700 masl), Scotinomys teguina, Reithrodontomys sumichasti, , Orthogeomys heterodus (Center of Costa Rica), Microsciurus mimulus, Isthmomys flavidus (Panamá).
Lagomorpha: 1 sp. Sylvilagus dicei (endemic for the region).
Carnivora: 7 spp. Bassariscus sumichrasti (F. Valverde, there is a collected unit from La Trinidad in the National Museum of Costa Rica), Canis latrans (F. Valverde), Puma concolor (F. Valverde), Leopardus pardalis (F. Valverde), L. wiedii (F. Valverde), Nasua narica (F. Valverde), Potos flavus (F. Valverde).
It is expected: Bassaricyon lasius (endemic for the region), Leopardus tiginus.
Perissodactyla: 1 sp.
Artiodactyla: It is expected: Tayassu tajacu y Mazama americana (F. Valverde) observed at 3150 masl.
Perissodactyla 1 sp: Tapirus bairdii (F. Valverde).
